Complaining about homework always seemed weird to me because there’s always some sort of bizarre “rebellion” behind refusing to do it but the basic principle is that if you do the work you actually help yourself learn the concept and that’s always fun

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not crazy about it either and I nearly lost my mind this past winter working on a paper that was worth 50% of my entire grade for that class

But complaining about having to do it isn’t showcasing some “fuck it, I’m young” attitude, it’s not being able to handle basic expectations for being a functional and responsible person and I hate to break it to you but it’s only going to get worse as you get older so if you can’t stand up under the weight of a few pages of math problems or three weeks to write an essay on a novel you’ve been reading all semester, just wait til you get to post-secondary kid
