Facets of Us

So my friend and I text Sherlock theories a lot

And I saved a ton of her messages because they were amazing. I am now saving them here so I can clear out my inbox for the first time in ages and think about them again. I don’t have my responses, so…. I’m just guessing what we were talking about :]

Favorite character? “You know… I think it’s Moriarty. The problem is that sometimes I feel like it should be Sherlock… but his occassional asshole-ishness but annoys me to death. And Moriarty has got /swag/. The into to RF with him is probably one of my favourite television scenes of all time.”

Gahh Great Game swimming pool Johnlock feels “Yeah, that was the turning point for me shipping them (at least in a romantic sense). Once you get into Season 2 there are more moments like that. As for meeting the Doctor… I dunno. I think I’d rather catch a glimpse of him running to the Tardis and the thing disappearing the fog. :/ I’d feel safer that way. And as much as I love the Doctor, part of me can’t come to terms with the fact that when the world needed him most, he was either too busy to show up or he looked away in shame… Torchwood really leave a dent in the innocence of DW.”

I’m not acutally gay, well I am… Irene wha? “It is never fully explained so fans take it different ways. She could be saying it meaning she’s bi, and thus partly gay and thus trying to hint at Jawn that he could be too, she could have been trying to lie in order to hide her Sherlock crush, or she could have meant that she is in fact a lesbian but that it doesn’t matter because she’s Sherlock-sexual (and thus it wouldn’t matter if Jawn wasn’t gay because he could end up being Sherlock-sexual as well).”

Believe in Sherlock! “XD Well you can mark that off  your Sherlock bucketlist.”
“Visiting 221B Baker street, meeting a Dr. J. WAtson, reading the actual books (working on that currently), obtaining a purple scarf of sex, etc.”
“Ooh can’t forget joining a ‘Vatican cameo’ flashmob! Weesh, I should really write this all down…” little did you know 

Blaaaarg Sherlock, your coffee/sugar shit is annoying me i thought you were being cute why are you ruining this one nice gesture ”Everyone at that point seems to forget that no matter how he seems to be getting attached to Jawn, Sherlock is still under the belief that he is nothing more than a genius high-fuctioning sociapath. From his point of view what he did only makes sense.”
“Yeah, episode one explains that Sherlock is under the belief that he is a sociapath. During one of Jawn and Mycroft’s talks he explains that Sherlock is wrongly diagnosing himself (ironically) and that he most likely has a case of aspergers. That’s why a lot of people think Mycroft is pushing Jawn on Sherlock…that he’s hoping Jawn will be able to break Sherlock out of that idea and return him to the way he was before that idea was forced into his head… not so cold and uncaring. :P”

What, Sherlock is at a loss for words? “Moriarty beat him while almost blowing up the person closest to him :P Of course he’s going to be shocked / mildly dismayed. He’s not used to being on the losing side.”

AHHHH I JUST SAW REICHENBACH I HAVE FEELS “Haha XD I think we should skype about this in the near future…”

God, I wish I remembered what my theory was here “XD That’s why I think Moriarty still lives.”

Sherlock and Moriarty are perfectly matched… How could it ever end? “It’ll end likely from an outside force…I’m betting Jawn.”

Like the little touch with the underwear? “Pfft he’s gay. And screwing Moran. That’s just…well, headcanon but pretty much /the/ only headcanon.”

Moffat and Gatiss…. whaaaa “Gatiss is a shipper at heart and he builds stories out of character relationships. If he had it his way Johnlock would already be canon. Moffat is his opposite— his sotires focus more on morals and meaning and character developemtn is almost a byproduct. He (despite what you may end up thinking later on in DW) is not a shipper at heart. In that way those two are like yinyang which is why Sherlock is so amazing and slightly more addicting than DW.”

And finally, the latest, which has nothing to do with Sherlock…
“Hey, I know you just got back and this is crazy
but we’ve finally got Thor on DVD
so hang out sometime this week, maybe? :)”
